Too many people were daunted by the list I originally put forth here. So I'll simplify it to something that can be understood. However, now you should read all links involved. Any show of not reading all the contents will result in no response. ^_^ If you are willing to read links and the specifications, you are willing to do a section for a site. Note: If you just want to help... in any way, e-mail me and you can skip all of this. 1. Please check for availibility of the series. 2. Design in the sense of simple elegance, if at all possible. This is the themeing of how the site was originally designed for, and the majority of the Web Designers adhered to. For examples, check the links at Worst of the Web and this site, the majority are themed that way. 3. A show of willingness to commit. I'm not asking for an ever-changing page. You can make it static, if you want. But finish the static page. 4. Stick to the Principle colors I assign (As in the main colors the user will see). You may vary the color in shade, tone, and even adjust other pictures to those colors, and have some regular colors in there for effect. If you don't like them. You can discuss it with me. (This is something that Worst of the Web tends towards liking in their nominated pages...) 5. All scripts, frames, large games, and "extras" should be run by me. Show a willingness to learn the code. With games, please don't use external links, but come up with something entirely new. 6. No Hentai. Tasteful nudity portraying innocence is allowed, but no hentai. Images that are questionable should be labeled. (PG-13 for images, R for violence in fan fiction.) 7. This is not really necessary, but the Best pages will have an awesome design that emulates Takeuchi-sensei and the series. (An extension of something said on Worst of the Web) Fringe Benefits 1. News about Takeuchi-sensei before SOS corrupts it. (Plus the odd hope she will see and comment on the site.) 2. Linkage. 3. Something to put on a resume. 4. Fun! A way to show dedication to what you love! 5. Also, I'm willing to help on the site to some extent, but I refuse to do hand-holding. (e.g. I'll help with scanning, translating, start people out on scripts I know... but I won't design the page for them or make decisions for them.) ^_^ Because of this, I'll probably have new materials. 6. Your own section with the ability to get a free e-mail address, and the ability to use php, and other high end languages. You will also have no ads on your section of your website, and a reasonable amount of leg room. That said here's the availibility of the series: Availibility |
